[He's frowning about all of that. Even drunk, he's never gotten that rough. Give him a moment, and he'll be easing back away from Ri to climb out of the bed and start hunting for his pants.]

This is the bedroom we shared when we- when I was a good fifteen years younger. I can tell we're not in the new place, because there's no kids banging on the door. This must be your room.

[He never did find his clothes, but that hardly matters. He's coming back to the bed to scoop Ri up as he is, face-down so he isn't aggravating bruises or making Ri walk. He's even taking the top sheet that was tangled beneath him. A portal opens as he stands, leading to a set of rooms he knows is safe. There's various mechanical parts laying about, along with tools and the occasional dirty cup or plate left out.]

[How does it feel to realize Riku's still strong enough in his old age to heft Ri with barely a grunt of effort? He's heading straight to the bathroom where he can carefully set Ri down on his feet by the counter in case he needs something for support. Once he's sure Ri's steady, he'll be moving to run a bath for him.]

[He's still mediocre at healing spells, so he's lacing Ri's bath with a hi-potion fished out from beneath the sink. Don't ask why he has bubbles, but those are getting dumped in, too.]

[He doesn't expect him to. Once the bath is ready, he'll help to get Ri into it slowly. The water is very hot, but it should feel amazing soon enough.]

Can't say the same, but I don't remember either of us getting so rough with each other. I think something else is fucking with us this time.

[Of course he is. It's a good thing that this is a big tub, because he's not even going to ask before sliding in behind Ri with the shampoo bottle. It helps that he was already naked.]

Because if I'm going to chance getting in trouble, I'd like to do it properly.
