Someone's Asleep in my Bed! Meme

Ah, end of the day and you're ready to take a load off. Time to go flop on your bed and catch some Z's and then---

Whoa. wait who is that? There's someone on your bed.... What do now?

Or coversely you could have gone to get some shut eye and suddenly you wake up in someone elses' bed!

Really, everything and anything goes-- but somebody is not in their own bed.

You aught to know the drill on how these things work by now, have at it.

[d'awww that's not fair! Kira will sit on the edge of the bed and give Sora's back a pat]

[It's very nice! She doesn't even wake up at first, subconsciously choosing instead to scoot closer to the source of the warmth.]

[He exhales slowly, a little shaken, but calming down now that she's moved her hands. (Not that he really wanted her to.) Then he laughs, quiet and breathless, and shakes his head.]

There's only room for one freak in my place, and it's not you. But I can understand that last part. If I knew you before tonight, I wouldn't be doing this.

Well, we'll just have to cross that bridge when we come to it.

[Which really just means he intends to be underhanded as all fuck with his Malkavian mind tricks.]

[When she moves closer, his arm reaches out over Kairi to pull her flush against his side. It's a protective move, though it's doubtful she's likely to fall out of the bed. He's bare-chested as usual, but hopefully that won't freak her out too much.]

[Hallo there. There's a Riku asleep next to you. He might be using your arm as a teddy bear.]

[There's a muffled, sleepy sort of squeak, and her eyes flutter open. She's used to crawling into bed with Ienzo and Kairi sometimes, when she's been scared, but never a Riku before! She's definitely awake now.]

Hopefully we won't have to. Daddy and Papa really don't like me to be around boys who aren't family.

[the reasons of which are rather obvious]

[She is, but he isn't. He's aware of her, but it's more a sense of her Light and innocence than that there's a child in his nest of blankets piled atop the bed. She's going to have a heck of a time getting away and out from under his wing without waking him, though.]

[Part of him registers that someone else is there, even is his mind hasn't quite awoken enough to realize it. He's more than familiar with someone else occupying a bed with him though, so it doesn't set off any alarms. He curls closer, the blanket having been kicked between them.]

[They could go back to where they were if he wants. For now though, she's just rubbing her thumbs slowly over his hips. Some of her tension eases at his really not thinking she's a freak, and she picks up on his phrasing.]

Does that mean you're... still interested?

[At least he's safer than a lot of other people who could've ended up in the bed? He tends to be a heavy sleeper, so he doesn't notice anything odd yet, and probably won't for a while if he's left alone. He mumbles something about being cold and tries to snuggle closer to the warm person next to him.]

[Don't worry Kira, it isn't long before he's peeking out from under both the pillow and the blanket. He still looks sad and it's obvious he was crying, even if he hurries to scrub a hand over his eyes when he sees her.]

... Who're you?

[He's more than warm enough to the touch, enough that his hair is sticking to his forehead. Being so close to Riku feels good, though he isn't still for long before he starts shifting restlessly.]

[She's not actually worried about doing it without waking him, though! In fact, once she finally does realize that those are his wings she's lying under, great big gorgeous feathery wings, any fear she had before disappears and she reaches over to start shaking him to wake him up.]

Wake up!

Mmmm?

[He opens one eye halfway to look at her, the other half of his face buried in a down-feather pillow.]

[He figured she might.]

Yeah. Why not, right? It's not like it'll kill one of us. Still just hands though.

[He's very adamant about that, if nothing else.]

[She stops immediately, drawing her hands back. She's whispering, as loud as little girls can whisper, because she feels bad for waking him up.]

You're gonna squish me.

Stoppit.

[Warm is a plus, but the shifting bothers him. Maybe he'll stop if this Riku attempts to push the blanket over him.]

[That has him blinking some more, before his arm loosens around her and that wing lifts a bit. Mostly to see her better. He's not quite aware of what's happened, but it doesn't seem too terribly upsetting. Sure, he isn't used to discovering himself snuggling up to people in his bed, but her being a child doesn't set off much in the way of warning bells. If it's all the same to her, he'd like to go back to sleep. His eye is closing again, in fact.]

Sorry, Kairi...

[Not really. Riku doesn't even react to hearing a voice he wouldn't normally hear anywhere near his bed, let alone in it and coming from so close beside him. Unless one counts flailing an arm in the direction of Riku's neck.]

It's okay.

[She doesn't really mind, since he's obviously an angel. Kairi knows about angels, and she trusts him more than anything right now.]

I dunno how I got here, but can I still sleep?

Mmhm. As long as you like.

[How long until she realizes she's smelling sugar cookies, and that it's mostly coming from his wings and hair?]

[Not long, and when she does she'll never want to go home again.]
