The Aphrodisiacs Drink Meme

Probably. At least a couple of these drinks seem alcoholic. I wouldn't want to confuse anyone too badly.

[Riku blinks, having to take a moment to process that. He isn't in the habit of consorting with drunkards. He's looking toward the table now, with its assortment of colorful drinks.]

Is that what that scent is?

Some of it, yeah.

[some of it is fruit, after all, or chocolate, or licorice, or coffee, or tea... he sips his drink again, feeling pleasantly warm.]

I do hope most don't overdo it, then. The hangover was a good idea for a deterrent.

[He's pretty attracted to the chocolate scents. He picks up one of the darkest drinks on the table, giving it a sniff. He has no idea what licorice is, but the chocolate he can smell in it is what keeps him from putting it back. Riku takes a very cautious sip, remembering what happened last time he turned human. Up go the eyebrows again.]

[Kai's lips twitch in amusement at his reaction.]

[It's got a strong taste, but the chocolate evens it out well. Not that he's much of a connoisseur of alcoholic drinks... Or any, really.]

[he laughs, but looks apologetic, taking a larger sip from his drink.]

I don't normally have a sense of taste, no. It would provide too much temptation toward gluttony.

[He takes another careful sip, slowly. If his wings were intact they'd be starting to spread slightly as he relaxes.]

I guess that makes sense... though you miss out on some amazing things because of it. It seems unfair.

[he drums his fingers on his glass, looking around thoughtfully.]

If you'd like, we can find somewhere a little quieter so I can see how much Light it takes to make you feel it.

[He longs for it actually, but he's not the type to demand something like that from someone, even if it is something he wants badly.]

[he offers Riku a hand, smiling. whether he takes it or not, Riku will be led to one of the private rooms.]

[Riku isn't self-conscious at all about taking Kai's hand, and is certainly trusting enough of him. His other hand is occupied with his drink, but as soon as Kai releases him, he's going to start fanning the collar of his shirt. One would think he'd be cool enough, with slashes at the back freeing what's left of his wings.]

[the room is pretty bare at first glance, nothing really obviously sexual out in the open.]

I think I'm not used to wearing a shirt. It's grown warmer than I would have thought.

[Chances are, he wouldn't know a sex toy if it hit him. Unless it were very obvious, of course.]

[It's a careful process with the drink in his hand, but Riku manages. He'll join Kai on the bed soon after, facing toward him and close enough that their knees can touch.]

[he takes Riku's hand, though obviously not the one holding the drink if he still has it, and puts his other hand over it so they're touching. slowly, he lets a ball of Light form in the space between their hands.]

[Riku's breath catches in his throat at the sight, and he moves closer to Kai as the ball appears. He wants to be as close to it as he can get, even if he can't feel it nearly as well while he's human. He takes a deep breath, as if he could absorb the Light into himself.]

[he could, technically, though only with Kai directing it to. after all, he uses it to heal sometimes. Kai just smiles, expanding the ball's size so it begins to 'press' against their hands.]

[He closes his eyes to focus on it, his shoulders relaxing. He can feel it better now, and though it isn't quite the same, it's enough. Riku's feeling both pliant and strangely aching for contact, though he thinks it's all to do with the Light. He takes one more sip of his drink before reaching to set it on the floor, then brings himself as close to Kai as possible without actually climbing onto him.]

[that gets a soft laugh out of him and he lets the Light reach out over Riku, drifting gently along his arm.]

[If he keeps this up, Riku's going to be a puddle beside him. The feeling almost makes his hair stand on end as it is, but he doesn't mind in the slightest.]

I guess I shouldn't be too surprised at your reaction to it.

[he doesn't mind it at all, of course, and just lets his Light wash over Riku gently.]
